Seine River Cruises

Seine River Cruises

Like the Thames, the River Seine is best known as the river which flows through the nations capital. Rising near Dijon, the Seine is almost 500 miles long, journeying across northern France through Paris, and then meandering its way through upper Normandy to the English Channel at Le Havre and Honfleur. Paris of course needs little introduction. Our cruises both start and finish there, providing an excellent opportunity for first time visitors and those wishing to discover more of this fascinating city with a few extra nights. The route to the lovely harbour town of Honfleur passes through the countryside frequented by the great Impressionists, including Monet's base at Giverny, and the historic city of Rouen. The dramatic story of the D-Day landings can be explored on excursions to the beaches where it all happened. The Seine provides a magnificent setting for a river cruise with diverse interest.
